Very much in demand both live and in the studio, Steve Trigg's credits include albums with Eddie Martin, Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges, Andy Leek, The Firebirds, IO Earth, Mike D’Abo P.P. Arnold, Leah Weller, Steve Pilgrim and Paul Weller.

Steve has been a full time member of blue-eyed soul outfit Stone Foundation since 2017, heading up the horn section and writing and producing horn arrangements for the band, who have toured extensively, with sell out shows in Europe and the UK and several chart topping single and album releases. The band have supported Paul Weller, Grace Jones, Tom Jones, Madness and The Specials among others.

As Paul's Weller's trusted trumpet player and horn arranger Steve has written horn arrangements and performed on Paul's last three studio albums, including his latest release 66. He has performed with Paul on numerous tours, including his regular summer 'Forest' gigs as well as a sell out Wembley concert supporting Blur in 2023. He has also appeared with Paul's band on the Jools Holland Show.

Live - Steve is also regular touring member of ska legends Bad Manners and has appeared in bands with Steve Winwood, Ruby Turner, Jess Roden, Jim Capaldi, Andy Fairweather Low and Robert Plant. In 2019 he toured with soul legend PP Arnold on her New Adventures tour. The recording of the final show, Live at Liverpool, has recently been released as an album and features Steve's horn arrangements on seminal tracks including – First Cut is the Deepest and God Only Knows.

Throughout his career Steve has also worked in horn sections alongside Pee Wee Ellis and Dick Heckstall-Smith and features on a number of recording projects including several sessions for Mick Jagger and a charity single under the banner ‘Mod Aid’ where Steve performed alongside Ronnie Wood, Art Wood, PP Arnold, Reg Presley, Steve Craddock and Chris Farlowe.

Steve's recent recording work includes playing Flugel Horn on Leah Weller’s debut album Freedom, Steve Pilgrim’s sixth album Beautiful Blue and the Weller /Suggs best-selling single, Ooh Do You Fink U R, with horns arranged, recorded and produced by Steve.
